Photography isn’t my job, and I prefer it that way. It keeps the whole thing casual.
I never thought of myself as visually creative. I can’t draw, and I used to assume that was the end of it.
Around 2018 I picked a camera up again after an earlier attempt that went nowhere. This was the shot that did it — dice in a glass of water. I was surprised by what I was getting, and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.
